	East Canyon Resort invites you to experience a 9,600-acre mountain and meadow retreat. It is located in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains in a remote wilderness setting-but still only a 45-minute drive from most major Utah cities. During the summer, you can enjoy biking, horseback riding, hiking, trout fishing, swimming and miniature golf at East Canyon Resort. The Reservoir and Marina are only six miles from the resort and offer fishing along with all types of water sports. A glimpse of big game animals and colorful wildflowers add to your get-a-way experience. Popular winter activities include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and observing wildlife. For the downhill skier, many famous ski resorts are less than an hour away including those in Park City, home of the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Winter Driving Directions

From Salt Lake International Airport: (70 miles): Exit the Airport and take I-80 East. After a brief cross over on I-15 South, continue East on I-80. Travel past Park City and Echo Reservoir and take I-84 West, Exit 168. Take Exit 115 at Henefer and turn left. In Henefer, follow the signs and turn left onto Highway 65 South. After about 10 miles, turn left at the fork in the road and then turn left again. Follow the signs to East Canyon Resort. Continue about 6 miles, the resort is on the right.

Summer Driving Directions

From Salt Lake International Airport: (40 miles): Exit the Airport and take I-80 East. After a brief cross over on I-15 South, continue East on I-80. Travel up Parley's Canyon on I-80 East to the East Canyon Exit 134, Highway 65. Turn left at the end of the exit and stay on Highway 65 for 14 miles. Highway 65 goes to the top of Big Mountain and then drops down to East Canyon. The resort is on your left.
