Charlotte - approximately 2 hours
Asheville - approximately 45 minutes
From I-26 North: Take Exit #67 (Columbus/Tryon old Exit #36). Turn onto Hwy. #108 East, go 6 miles to Mill Spring, NC. Turn onto Hwy. #9 North, go approximately 11 miles. Turn right on Hwy. #64/74 East, go approx 4.5 miles. Turn left onto Bill's Creek Road (State Rd. #1008), go 2.5 miles and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Rd. Go 2/10ths of a mile and take a right on Herman Wilson Rd. (If you cross the bridge you have gone too far). Go 1/10th of a mile and the Welcome Center will be on the right on a hill.
From I-40: Take the Marion/Sugarhill Exit #81. Turn South off exit ramp onto Sugarhill Rd. (State Rd. #1001), go 4.5 miles. Turn right again and continue on Sugarhill/Montford Cove Rd. Go 7 miles and turn right onto Bill's Creek Rd. (State Rd. #1008). After 7.5 miles turn right onto Buffalo Creek Rd, then go 2/10ths of a mile and turn right onto Herman Wilson Rd. (If you cross the bridge you have gone too far). Go 1/10th of a mile and the Welcome Center will be on the right on a hill.
